Process Engineer / Purchasing / Customer Service

Location: On-siteEmployment Type: Full-Time

Position OverviewWe are seeking a versatile and detail-oriented professional to join our team in a hybrid role combining Process Engineering, Purchasing, and Customer Service responsibilities. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working across multiple functions-improving operational processes, coordinating procurement activities, and maintaining strong customer relationships.

The successful candidate will help streamline production and operational workflows, manage supplier interactions and purchasing activities, and ensure customers receive timely support and accurate information.

Key Responsibilities

Process Engineering

  • Analyze, develop, and improve operational and manufacturing processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and implement practical solutions.
  • Support production teams with troubleshooting, workflow optimization, and documentation.
  • Maintain process documentation, standard operating procedures

Purchasing

  • Source raw materials, components, and services from suppliers.
  • Request and evaluate supplier quotes to ensure best value in cost, quality, and delivery.
  • Issue purchase orders and track order status to ensure timely delivery.
  • Maintain vendor relationships and assist with supplier performance evaluations.

Customer Service

  • Serve as a point of contact for customers regarding orders, product information, and delivery timelines.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to resolve order issues and scheduling concerns.
  • Process orders, track shipments, and ensure accurate documentation.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships through clear and timely communication.

Qualifications

  • Supply Chain, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • 2-5+ years of experience in manufacturing, engineering, purchasing, operations, or customer service roles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and prioritize effectively.

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and continuous improvement principles.
  • Experience in supplier management and procurement.
  • Customer-focused mindset with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with inventory management and production scheduling.
