Interior Designer - Job Description


Summary of duties and responsibilities:

Responsible for developing, managing, and recording technical aspects of the project. Work closely with the project manager, sales, and other internal/external project teams throughout the project. Develop conceptual designs, presentations, design development, and manage project implementation. Responsible for project deliverables (cad drawings, renderings, specifications, finish boards and presentations), meeting overall project design schedules, as well as preparing and presenting design presentations. Keep the project team aware of any problems and attend meetings with the project managers, when required.

Required Skills

5c+ years of industry experience. Must have strong organizational and communication skills and be able to work with architects, contractors, and regulatory agencies to meet overall project goals. Senior interior designers also must be able to manage design/construction project and be confident in being the point person for our clients. They must be able to create interior construction documents. They must possess great verbal and nonverbal communication skills and be able to apply them in different situations.

An interior designer is required to be proficient in programs such as 2D/3D software, AutoCAD, 2020CAP, PowerPoint, Microsoft Projects & Photo Shop.

Must have a Bachelor's in interior design at an accredited university.

NCIDQ certification preferred, but not required.
