Position Overview: Rieke Interiors is seeking a Senior Interior Designer to join our dynamic team of professionals. The ideal candidate should be a vibrant designer with a minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial interior design. The Senior Interior Designer will be responsible for taking the lead on projects, guiding, and mentoring junior team members, and collaborating closely with clients to bring their visions to life. This role offers an opportunity to showcase your creativity and leadership skills while working in a supportive and innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design Leadership: Take a lead role in designing and developing interiors concepts for commercial projects, ensuring that the design aligns with the clients objectives and brand identity.
  2. Client Collaboration: Take a lead role in designing and developing interior concepts for commercial projects, ensuring that the designs align with client objectives and brand identity.
  3. Project Management: Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, managing timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project delivery.
  4. Collaborative Teamwork: Collaborate with the internal Rieke teams, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
  5. Material and Product Selections: Research and select appropriate materials, finishes, and furnishings that meet the project's design and functional requirements.
  6. Budget Management: Assist in developing and managing project budgets, making informed decisions to optimize cost-effectiveness.
  7. Continued Education: Keep abreast of industry trends, innovations, and emerging technologies to bring fresh ideas and design solutions to projects.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial interior design
  • Bachelor's degree in interior design at an accredited university
  • Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, & Adobe Creative Suite
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Storge project management and organization skills
  • NCIDQ certification is a plus.
