Operations Support Specialist - Job Description
CP Aero is precision machine shop specializing in milling and turning, supplying to the Aerospace & Defense Industry. Focused on automation and lights out machining, we are looking for talented individuals that can keep up with our fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
Experience with ERP systems, ProShop preferred.
Proficiency in Excel, PDF handling, and general office software.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
Duties & expectations: Enter customer Pos into the ERP system accurately and on time.
Generate and manage POs to vendors based on customer requirements and work order schedule.
Create and update part numbers, BOMs, and routing information in ERP system.
Receive incoming orders into the ERP system and ensure proper documentation.
Process shipments, print labels, generate packing lists and enter shipping transactions.
Monitor order status, lead times and vendor confirmations.
Communicate with customers and vendors regarding part status.
Support daily general office and administrative tasks.
Be team leader and work as a team member to ensure quality product and efficiencies.
Support cross-departmental communication and workflow.
Look to continuous improvement of processes and job performance and understand the contribution to the effectiveness of the QMS.
Keep clean and organized work area and maintain a positive attitude.
Aware of quality policies, procedures, objectives, contribution to conformance of product, safety and ethics.
