Tooling Engineer - Job Description

Do you have Cad Cam and 3D design knowledge?
Do you have press experience and insight into the practical application of design theories?
We are seeking a Tooling Engineer that will manage the daily operations of our tool room.

The Tooling Engineer will also perform the following responsibilities:
• Improve work processes
• Design, build, troubleshoot, repair, debug, build, maintain high speed high production progression dies, draw dies, compound dies, work holding fixtures and gages
• Establish a maintenance and repair schedule
• Program and operate Haas VF-4 and VF-2B VMC, Haas TL3W lathe, Haas GT20 turrent lathe and Agiecharmilles CUT 20 Wire-EDM through Mastercam X7
• Design progressive, draw, compound dies and tooling with SOLIDWORKS 2014, LOGOPRESS 3 and Mastercam X Solids
• Tooling Quotes
• Prototyping

Education and Experience:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Trade school degree
• 5+ years experience in tooling
