SUMMARY
Responsible for all accounts payable functions, focusing on vendor invoice processing, payment and problem resolution.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Matches vendor invoices, purchase orders, and receiving documents using ERP system.
- Obtains approval for all service and non-purchase order invoices.
- Processes all expense reports.
- Processes all credit card statements with assistance from executive admn. Tracks Controller's credit card transaction in ERP system. Works with vendors to accept credit card payments.
- Reviews in detail the weekly cash requirements prior to A/P check preparation.
- Runs/prints A/P checks.
- Balances accounts payable daily.
- Files all accounts payable documents.
- Maintains vendor database in ERP system.
- Maintains insurance certificates for all vendor contractors.
- Maintains use tax accrual and prepares monthly sales/use tax return for approval by Controller.
- Prepares annual Form-1099-NEC and 1099-Misc as appropriate.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum educational requirements: High school graduate or G.E.D preferred plus additional specialized training.
- Minimum of two years' of prior Accounts Payable experience.
- Knowledge of accounting procedures.
- Excel spreadsheet skills required.
- IQMS or similar ERP experience a plus.
- Ability to perform routine duties involving use of various procedures and application to clearly prescribed standard practices, which require the making of decisions and use of some judgment as to the method of performance.
