Tooling Engineer - Program/Account Manager - Job Description

Job Description:

Represent the Company as an expert in products and services to outside entities.

Develop designated customer base with calls and visits to promote the Company and encourage requests for quotation and sales opportunities.

Provide timely quotations to customer RFQ's following up with contact and revised quotations as needed until job is secured or placed elsewhere.

Schedule and attend engineering design review and production planning meetings balancing CME and customer needs.

Oversee the maintenance of project data and documentation per the quality management system requirements.

Trouble-shoot problems regarding projects; respond to customer inquiries with prompt feedback; work with customers and vendors to evaluate and   identify improvement opportunities.

Facilitate sampling of tools; provide reports of sampling results to Company management and customer.

Use CAD software to evaluate mold designs and customer parts.

Travel frequently to customer locations to review tool designs, ensure quality samples, etc.

Manage all input and output with customers.

Complete all paperwork and update all electronic logs associated with position in a timely manner.

Continue to apply oneself to growing a knowledge base and an understanding of mold building and machining.

Comply with all company policies and procedures including CME Handbook and quality management system.
