As an application engineer for TOX Pressotechnik, you will be part of an organization that prides itself in offering innovative solutions to its customers. Our application engineers are creative, outside the box thinking, solution providers. A strong understanding of assembly processes and procedures is critical for success. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in manufacturing environments and have the ability to interact with maintenance personnel, manufacturing and design engineers, and managers. An engineering/technical background in equipment is critical in order to gain the customers confidence that you can provide the best solution for their application/process.

Successful application engineers should be skilled and be knowledgeable in the following areas:

  • Exposure to a variety of manufacturing environments
  • A working knowledge of fluid power principals
  • Good computer skills - database/spreadsheet manipulation
  • CAD/Solid Modeling exposure
  • Exposure to fastening techniques and solutions
  • Time management
  • 3-10 years of technical expertise
  • A BS degree is preferred, but not required
  • Ability to demonstrate technical selling expertise
