As part of our initiative to revamp marketing efforts for 2025, including a refreshed website and enhanced social media presence, we're seeking a driven and creative Business Development Marketing Co-op to join our Sales and Marketing Team. This hands-on role offers an exciting opportunity to make a direct impact on DTI's B2B marketing strategy. You will report directly to the Head of Marketing and Sales while collaborating closely with the engineering team, ensuring mentorship and alignment with strategic goals.


What You'll Do

  • Strategic Research: Identify target customers and explore innovative strategies to engage them through digital platforms and outreach efforts.
  • Campaign Development: Assist in planning, executing, and tracking scalable marketing campaigns aligned with DTI's 2025 goals.
  • Content Creation: Develop engaging social media posts, promotional emails, advertisements, and website updates to enhance brand visibility.
  • SEO & Analytics: Optimize website Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and analyze campaign performance.
  • Creative Collaboration: Contribute fresh ideas during brainstorming sessions and support DTI's marketing evolution.
  • Lead Generation: Work with the engineering team to craft prospecting messages tailored to a B2B audience, engage potential customers, track leads, and support outreach efforts.

What We're Looking For

  • Passion for Marketing: Familiarity with marketing principles and digital tools.
  • Creative Problem-Solving: Innovative thinker who can solve challenges with fresh ideas.
  • Digital Savvy: Experience with social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube).
  • Content Skills: Basic skills in photography, graphic design, and video editing (e.g., creating social media posts, reels, or short-form videos).
  • Organized Self-Starter: Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.
  • Strong Communicator: Clear written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • Completed coursework in marketing, business fundamentals, or equivalent.
  • Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, or similar).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).
  • Comfortable with customer outreach, including prospecting and lead generation.

What Will Get You Ahead

  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud tools (Photoshop, Premiere Pro, InDesign).
  • Basic knowledge of video editing or creating social media reels.
  • Familiarity with SEO techniques and best practices.
  • Understanding of HTML and website design (e.g., WordPress).
  • Knowledge of AI and generative AI tools for supporting and enhancing content creation.
  • A portfolio showcasing creative work, such as graphic design, social media posts, advertisements, or other content.
