Machine Operator - Metal Stamping - Job Description

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator with experience in setting up and operating metal stamping machines. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently running metal stamping equipment to produce high-quality parts according to specifications. The Machine Operator will also be involved in the setup, adjustment, and maintenance of the machines to ensure optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate metal stamping machines to produce parts as per technical drawings and specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
• Monitor production processes to maintain quality standards and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
• Adjust machine settings such as speed, pressure, and alignment to achieve desired results.
• Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards and make any necessary adjustments.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience working with stamping machines or similar equipment
• Basic knowledge of machine operations and maintenance
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
• Basic understanding of safety procedures and protocols
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
