Janler is a leader in high-precision plastic engineering, mold making and injection molding; located on the Northwest side of Chicago, close to O'Hare.
As our Senior Process Technician, you will work closely with the engineering, mold building and injection molding team. Your role will go beyond injection molding production to include set-ups and sampling of new molds, resin, and DOE's. You will have a chance to grow in leadership and supervision.

Experience: Put your injection molding experience to work in a friendly, family-run company where your talent is valued. Supervise and assist with new molds, resin trials and equipment installation along with all color, insert and mold changes to minimize downtime.
Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous quality improvement projects, and maintain documentation to help improve the operation. Track downtime, process changes, adjustments, and open molding issues, such as equipment problems or preventive maintenance needs.
Preventative Maintenance: Work closely with the Maintenance Department and Process Molding Technicians on preventative maintenance duties and troubleshooting of machines.
Safety Skills: Apply your know-how on safety and GMPs to be sure safety, health, and quality procedures are followed.
Learning on the Job: A college degree may be helpful, but it is not required. If you want to continue learning and growing on the job, this is an excellent opportunity for you.
People Skills: You will have the chance to coach and train the Process Molding Technician, and serve as backup to the Production Shift Supervisor.
Scheduling: Keep operations on track by coordinating lunches, breaks and overtime with theProduction Shift Supervisor and other technicians. Work closely with 2nd and 3rd shift Process Technicians to communicate processing information and determine production priorities.
Warehouse skills: Handle operation of the warehouse, including receiving and shipping, as well as organization and disposition of raw materials during the shift (regrind, color, packaging).
Requirements:
• High School Diploma required, Bachelor's degree a plus.
• 3 or more years experience in injection molding
• Ability to work with people, supervisory skills a plus
