Primary Function:
The Vice President of Sales plays a critical role in driving the growth and success of Pioneer Service. This position is responsible for leading the Sales Team and aligning customer requirements with the company's machining capabilities. The VP of Sales reports directly to the CEO and works closely with customers, suppliers, and the production team to achieve business objectives.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to meet or exceed revenue targets.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and markets for precision machining.
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while actively seeking opportunities to expand.
- Travel to prospect, customer, and vendors when needed to ensure strong partnerships.
- Travel and represent company at Tradeshows.
- Fostering a sense of urgency in completing projects and tasks.
- Monitor and analyze market trends.
- Contribute to Company Marketing Plan aligning sales initiatives with broader marketing goals.
- Maintain strong communication with customers to understand their evolving needs.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the sales team, setting performance goals and providing guidance to drive individual and team success.
- Lead with the development and improvement of Work Instructions for key work processes.
- Provide regular reports on sales performance, market conditions, and strategic initiatives to the executive team.
- Conduct oneself in a manner consistent with company mission, values, code of ethics, policies, and other standards of conduct.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field preferred.
- Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles within the precision machining industry.
- In-depth knowledge of CNC Swiss machining processes.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality standards, and cost controls, especially in a digital manufacturing context.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute business plans that incorporate digital transformation.
- Leadership experience in managing and motivating cross-functional teams in a digital manufacturing environment.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to walk, stand, sit and use hands to finger, handle, or feel parts. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms and occasionally required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, and crouch.
Work Environment
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Ear protection may be required for certain processes. Closed-toed shoes and eye protection are required for all activity on the shop floor.
