ABOUT BRONSON & BRATTON, INC.

Bronson & Bratton was founded in 1948 by Walter D. Bronson and William J. Bratton, who recognized the need for a company that offered both a dedication to quality customer service and the knowledge and skill to finish carbide.

We pioneered the successful application of carbide in tools and dies used in many processes, including can lid forming, roll forming, seaming, straightening, and aluminum can drawing.

Now in our third generation of management, our applications have since broadened into non-metal working areas, and we've expanded into the aerospace and medical markets. Our dedication to customer service has stayed consistent, and we work hard to identify and anticipate our customer's needs in order to provide the best solutions to their unsolved problems.
Our team shares a commitment to growth, innovation, and continued excellence. We believe this ensures the successful operations of our day-to-day business as well as sets the foundation for future success. Our employees are some of the most skilled workers in their fields, and to show our appreciation for all that they do, we strive to provide a flexible, relaxed environment with the freedom to use their talents effectively to the best of their abilities. We want our employees to be proud of the work that they do!

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A PRECISION GRINDER

As a Grinder, you play an essential role in moving products through the manufacturing process to become sellable goods. You read and interpret blueprints and sketches of an assigned project in order to understand the task at hand. After setting up the machine, you operate the grinder and cut the product to size, ensuring you are using the right specifications. Using your keen eye for detail, you verify that the product you created conforms with specifications using gauges, micrometers, and other inspection equipment as needed.

In addition, you maintain an accurate count of the products you make as well as record production pieces and how many hours you worked. You always handle products with care to protect them from damage and to keep them free of foreign object debris. Once you are done working for the day, you clean up your area based on our company's housekeeping protocol. Watching your creations come to life each day brings you great fulfillment, which is why you are perfect as our machine operator!

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A PRECISION GRINDER

•2+ years of experience as a Precision Grinder OR equivalent education
•Ability to set up, indicate, and grind to size various products
•Ability to read and understand blueprints

Are you attentive to detail? Do you work well both independently and as part of a team? Can you balance multiple tasks while demonstrating good time management? Are you able to get the job done with minimal supervision? Do you consider yourself reliable and responsible? If yes, you might just be perfect for this CNC machinist position in manufacturing!
